5 things Halloween

Hello… bonjour…

This past week ended with Halloween on Friday.

1. We were an Army man, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin (Prince Ali), and a Devil/Angel. Obviously, there’s no connection whatsoever—besides the two Disney characters! I found Anthony’s and my costumes at a thrift store. They were handmade, and I felt like I’d hit the jackpot when I found them! I want to meet the person who made them—I feel like we’d be best friends. Not only are they makers who take their craft seriously, but they’re also donators!!

2. Pumpkins! We had a ton, which is always the best way to set the mood. Solomon carved his to look like a pumpkin throwing up, and I made a little ghost carving.

3. We put paper bats all throughout our home!

4. On the table, we set up a little Halloween scene. We made the tiny snakes from clay we already had, and the branches came from outside.

5. Halloween candy is the best! I love Milk Duds—maybe it’s the size of the box, but for some reason, they just taste better at Halloween
